Director's Statement

Ever since I saw Ropaci (Oil Gobblers), I had a soft spot for mockumentary. Thus when I saw the FilmSprint announcement I promptly joined.
This project was fun movie to make with my friend, my son and his buddy, who actually works in a senior center kitchen. Lisa wanted to make zombie cooking show, Michael provided the fabulous commercial kitchen backdrop and my son was great sounding board for the story.
My recent stories seem to be about food and often verge on dark comedy, maybe it is because it is 2022, a year when Soylent Green movie takes place and we are supposedly driven to cannibalism because we completely destroyed sustainability on this planet.
